Pumpkin
Storage: Keep pumpkins in a cool, dry place for up to four months.
Preparation: Cut open pumpkin and remove seeds and insides. Peel and then cut into chunks. Roasted pumpkin seeds make a great snacks or topping.
Taste: Sweet, nutty, tastes somewhat like sweet potato when cooked.
