Storage: Cipollini onions should be kept in a cool, dry open space away from bright light. This will keep them fresh for up to two weeks.

Preparation: Because of their high sugar content, they are a bit harder to peel than regular onions. Trim the base with a thin, sharp knife, then pull back the skin. They are great for roasting or caramelizing.

Taste: Milder and sweeter than regular onions.

Nutritional Benefits: Onions are a great source of phytochemical that may help to promote healthy cholesterol levels and blood pressure. They are also a superb source of fiber, vitamin C, vitamin B6, manganese, and folate.
