Grilled Corn on the Cob
Super easy way to cook fresh sweet corn. Try different combos of herbs and seasoning depending on the rest of your meal!
Ingredients (1 ear per person):
Ears of fresh sweet corn, shucked
Unsalted butter, melted
Freshly picked herbs, chopped
Seasoning
Directions:
1) Lightly grease grill grates. Heat grill on high setting.
2) When grill is very hot, place ears of corn directly on grill grates. Turn quickly and regularly to cook on all sides. The goal here is to get a nice char on the corn-- not cook it completely.
3) Remove corn from grill, lower grill flame to medium setting. Allow corn to cool until it is cool enough to handle.
4) Meanwhile in a small bowl, combine melted butter and fresh herbs.
5) Use a brush to coat all sides of corn in melted butter mixture, then sprinkle with desired seasoning. Finally, wrap dressed corn in tin foil. Repeat with each individual ear of corn.
6) Throw wrapped corns on elevated grill grate to finish cooking. I time this step to go along with any other grilling I may be doing for the meal.
7) Remove corn from grill, unwrap, and enjoy. :)
