What’s Growing
Katchkie Farm is a year-round vegetable farm. In the summer, our fields are filled with zucchini, tomatoes, cucumbers and more. In the winter, our greenhouses specialize in salad and micro-greens. Though we can’t guarantee any of these items each week, the below lets you know the range of produce you might find at our markets and in the CSA shares for the 2012 season:
Artichokes, Arugula, Fava Beans, Beets, Bok Choi, Brazing Greens, Broccoli, Broccoli Raab, Brussels Sprouts, Cabbage (mini, Chinese, red, green), Cantaloupe, Carrots, Cauliflower, Celery Root, Collard Greens, Cucumbers, Eggplant, Fennel, Garlic, Greens, Basil, Dill, Parsley, Cilantro, Kale, Kohlrabi, Leeks, Lettuce Heads, Okra, Onion, Parsnip, Peas, Peppers (bell and hot), Radishes, Romanesco, Rutabaga, Scallions, Spinach, Summer Squash, Swiss Chard, Tomatillos, Tomatoes (beefsteak, plum, cherry, heirloom), Turnips, Winter Squash (butternut, delicata), and Zucchini.
