CSA

Do you want to make an investment in local, organic agriculture? Do you dream of having organic produce delivered to your neighborhood each week? Do you want to expand your cooking repertoire by learning to cook with everything from garlic scapes to celery root? Then consider joining a Katchkie Farm CSA.

Our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) Program is a direct market relationship where members pay for a season of produce before the season begins, making an investment in our farm. In June we begin our weekly deliveries (this year to the 92 Y Tribeca on Hudson Street and to the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood, exact location TBD) and our members take home 8-10 different veggies including lettuce, radishes, tomatoes, basil, squash, onions, garlic, kale, chard, eggplant, spinach, or whatever else Farmer Bob has picked, every week through October. (Please note, Katchkie Farm is a certified organic VEGETABLE farm, we do not provide fruit as part of the basic CSA).

Our Downtown CSA for 2012 will run from mid June through early November with pick up every Wednesday from 5pm to 8pm starting June 13 and ending November 7. See the 92 Y Tribeca’s website for full details on full and half shares and volunteer commitment.

Sign ups for the 2012 season are open on the 92YTribeca website.

The Hell’s Kitchen CSA will run from mid June through early November with pickup at the Signature Theater Cafe on 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues. Pickup time will MOST LIKELY take place from 3pm-6pm on Thursdays, starting June 14 and ending November 8.
